THE COLLECTOR: SOCIAL COLLECTION

I never investigate forums, didn’t even know they existed until May of 2011.  I had purchased a auction lot having a single sided Unforgiven 1 Sheet that looked authentic.  I already had one I thought was authentic, but the colors just didn’t look right.  The lot also had an autographed Pulp Fiction 1 Sheet.  So I went through the process of trying to find authentication information and finally decided to post a topic on All Poster Forum.   After a few replies, Dread_Pirate_Mel told me I should introduce myself and start showing off some of my stuff. 

At that point, I had around a thousand posters.  I actually didn’t think much of having so many, as there are so many more I wanted.  But Mel assured me that a thousand poster collector doesn’t just pop up every day.  So I started by posting pictures in the threads and eventually made a make-shift poster website using, what I thought at the time, were awesome tilt view galleries.  I made an "on the fly structure" out of my old eBay site (I use to have a vinyl record store) and off I went.  Well, that just would not do now... 

I enjoy the social aspect so much more than I ever thought. So, like all serious and enthusiastic movie poster collectors, I too have decided to make a kick-ass website strictly dedicated to my movie poster collection.
